About Dr. Zou Yue

I was born, and grew up, in Hangzhou, China, located on the eastern coast of China at the southern end of the Grand Canal of China. Situated in Hangzhou is beautiful West Lake, a serene landmark with over 2000 years of history and a much-loved retreat among emperors. Hangzhou is also famous for producing silk textiles, and green tea.

After graduating from Zhejiang Chinese Traditional Medicine University in 1985, I practiced acupuncture at Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as a resident doctor. Five years later I became the doctor in charge in the acupuncture department engaging in clinical practice and academic teaching. In 1994 I moved to the United States with my family and continued practicing acupuncture. I have been at the Lotus Center since 2004 where I have been able to continue to do what I love.
