Dr. Zou Yue grew up in Hangzhou, China, located on the eastern coast of China at the southern end of the Grand Canal of China. Situated in Hangzhou is a beautiful West Lake, a serene landmark with over 2000 years of history and a much-loved retreat among emperors. Hangzhou is also famous for producing silk textiles, and green tea.
After graduating from Zhejiang Chinese Traditional Medicine University in 1985, which includes Eastern and Western Medicine, Dr. Yue practiced acupuncture at Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as a resident doctor. Five years later, she became the doctor in charge of the acupuncture department, engaging in clinical practice and academic teaching. In 1994, she moved to the United States with her family and continued practicing acupuncture. By 2004, she began working at The Lotus Center, and has contributed her 30+ years of applied wisdom and knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine — and her love — to the care and healing of her patients.
